2022 FRMCU Annual Meeting and Scholarship Recipients
The Annual Meeting of the Fall River Municipal Credit Union was held at its Main Office Located at 333 Milliken Boulevard, Fall River, MA on Saturday, April 23, 2022. All Reports and information presented reflected the fiscal year 2021.

FRMCU Conducts Toy Drive
Employees and members of Fall River Municipal Credit Union donated toys for the Citizens for Citizens toy drive. Each month, employees dress down and make donations to support local charities of their choice.
Fall River Municipal Credit Union Provides Financial Literacy Resources to Local Students and the Bristol County Community
Fall River Municipal Credit Union is bringing financial literacy education to over 1,340 students and residents in Bristol County. Students at 12 schools and the surrounding community have free access to Banzai, an award-winning online program and content library that allows users to practice real-world finance from the safety of their home or classroom using any internet-enabled device. At a time when a solid foundation of practical financial knowledge is critical, these resources will make a huge impact on users.
FRMCU Donates to Fall River Permanent Firemen’s Benefit Association
Fall River Municipal Credit Union (FRMCU) has been proudly serving the local community since 1930. At Fall River Municipal Credit Union, “it is part of our mission to help the greater community” said President & CEO Matthew G. Schondek. From its humble beginning, started by a Fall River Firefighter, it is only right to return the honor. FRMCU has donated $500 to the Fall River Permanent Firemen’s Benefit Association. The Fall River Permanent Firemen’s Benefit Association relies on area businesses to raise funds to provide a death benefit to the beneficiary of a deceased firefighter.

FRMCU Welcomes New Board Members
Matthew G. Schondek, President and CEO of Fall River Municipal Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the Credit Unions Board of Directors. Christopher R. Carreiro, Esq., Scott O’Brien, and Janice M. Carrigg have been elected to the Board.

FRMCU Honors Promotion
Matthew G. Schondek, President and CEO of Fall River Municipal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Tania Couturier, to Branch Manager at the Credit Union. Couturier has been with FRMCU for over 16 years and continuously demonstrated the desire to learn and expand in her roles. Tania started as a part-time teller, promoted to MSR, and most recently Assistant Manager. In her role as Branch Manager, Couturier will be assisting members with their financial needs on a one-to-one basis as well as the daily responsibility of operating a credit union branch.

FRMCU Welcomes New Hires and Honors Promotion
Matthew G. Schondek, President and CEO of Fall River Municipal Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of James Maloney as the Credit Union’s new Vice President of Lending. Maloney has over ¬¬26 years of Lending experience and came to FRMCU from Westerly Community Credit Union, where he held the title of Director of Retail Lending for 8 years. Prior to that, Maloney was the Senior Mortgage Underwriter at Greenwood Credit Union. In his new position, Maloney will oversee the Lending department and work with the management team to advance the Credit Union to streamline processes and procedures and improve the member lending experience while advancing the Credit Union forward.
